About Howard’s Fine Jewelry

Howard’s Fine Jewelry began in 1948 by Irving Siegel, who named the store after his son, Howard. Howard’s started on the corner of 8 Mile and Van Dyke as a store that sold a little bit of everything: vacuums, fertilizer, paint, appliances, and of course, jewelry. Mr. Siegel was one of the first discounters in the state of Michigan. He retired in 2008 at the age of 90 and sold the business to Sako Ghazarian.

Sako is determined to maintain the tradition of quality, trust and service. The many generations of customers have not changed and are thrilled to still be shopping at Howard’s. Howard’s has a respectful, knowledgeable staff that will always be more than willing to assist.
